Ed graduated from the University of San Diego with a B.B.A. degree in Business. He has served on the Board of Foothill Family Services, a Non Profit, and has actively raised money for Children's Hospital Los Angeles, and the UC San Diego Foundation He also served on the Real Estate Committee for the University of San Diego Burnham-Moores Program, and is currently a founding Board Member of Bridge21 Park City.
